Hey there – Day four of Health Week! I love tea. I will drink tea on the hottest day of the year!

I especially love to have biscuits with my tea. So I have a recipe for just that. This is a variation of a recipe from Allrecipes.com.

Ingredients:

2 cups organic whole wheat flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter (It comes out to about 1 stick of butter with mine)

3/4 cup milk (I used my homemade almond milk. Link to how to make it: http://homeschoolapalooza.wordpress.com/2014/09/22/healthy-living-almond-milk-and-cookies/)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400˚F and grease pan

2. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Then add in butter and mix until crumbly. Stir in milk to make a dough. Knead 8 to 10 times, then roll out until at least a thickness of 1/2 an inch. Cut into shapes (I cut mine with heart shaped cookie cutters), place on cookie sheet, and let rest for a couple minutes.

3. Then put in oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Serve while warm.

This recipe is delicious! Remember to comment pictures of your finished product, and to subscribe to my blog.

Till next time, Toodles!
