Hey everyone! As many of you know, I have been re-doing my craft/work area and was in need of some organization.
(And tomorrow you will see what DIY I did with my cork board to help solve this problem as well!)
I’ve had this shoebox lid for a while (after I did this craft) and didn’t know what to do with it, but was also not willing to throw it away.
So, I made my own little desk organizer! It’s currently holding paint bottles, but other times it holds keys, screws and nails – because who wants those loose right??
Let’s get started!
You will need:
Then, paint the inside – after that dries be sure to do a double coat and be sure to paint the edges on all sides! You will want your brush strokes to be straight – otherwise it will end up looking kinda funky – I had to put another layer on top of this one that was straight because I messed up and it looked really bad!!
After that is totally dry, put it on your desk and voila! You have a super awesome desk holder!
I love it – it’s especially useful when I am using a drill and I don’t want my screws to be all over my table to roll off!
Doesn’t it look great??? I love the purple color and it’s soooo useful!
Be sure to come to the blog tomorrow to see my DIY Corkboard!!
Please be sure to share – it helps my little blog a ton!!
Thanks for reading! As always, please leave a comment below and tell me what you think about this DIY!
