DIY Emoji Clips

emoji school supplies

With the new school year in full swing, I like making some things to help me focus and make the school year easier for me.

I’m all about emojis right now, so I decided to make some super cool  emoji weekly calendar / emoji clips! I love them and I have them holding all my upcoming homework and homework thats due.

Let’s get started!

You will need:

Gorilla Glue Packing Tape

Printed out emojis of your choice (6-7)

Plastic Clips (You can use refrigerator clips)

(Full Disclosure: I was given free product in exchange from this post, but I only would recommend products I love and use all the time! All opinions are 100% mine.)

Cut out your emojis. Mine are about 5 inches and I think that is a really good size for these. I cut out 6 so that my week goes – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Weekend. This also makes it so that when I hung them up they were an even number, but if having one extra, go ahead and cut out 7.

Then, grab your Gorilla Glue Packing Tape. You find more info here and buy this tape here -Rip or cut about 1 inch more tape than your emojis and place it on the emoji. You will need 2 strips of tape to cover the whole emoji.

Yay! Looking good! I also taped the back, but thats optional. Taping your emoji makes it shiny, and it will last a really long time because it wont rip like regular paper would.

Then, tape or superglue the back of your clip to the emoji. Then I attached the clip to my wall with a removable putty (make sure it won’t pull off paint when you take it off the wall!).
