Hey hey hey!

With Father’s Day coming up, I started to think of some awesome gift I could make my dad, that he would save (unlike candy etc.)

One of my dads favorite artists is Andy Warhol – his artwork looks soooo cool!! I have been dying to make more crafts with my DohVinci (it’s very therapeutic!) so I whipped out my favorite colors and got to work!!

The end result is amazing and it was SO FUN to make!

Let’s get started!

[Full Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links which help keep my blog running so I can buy more craft supplies 🙂 Thank you for helping my crafting!]

You will need:

4 Bottles of 4 different colors (1 for a tie and 3 for a background 🙂 )

Your DohVinci Styler

Cardboard or Canvas Panels

Shadow Box Frame

First, cut out 4 equal sized squares:

After that is done, get your 4 colors and plan out what color will be a background and what colors will be the tie. Here is the pattern I used – the first color is a tie and the 2nd is the background:

Pop your DecoPop Tube into the Styler and SQUEEZE!! This will make ‘doh’ come out!

You are going to design the tie first, try to get them to be as about equal as possible!

Cute right? Now add your background – it will take 3 bottles! I did a zig zag-ish pattern – it looks really cool next to the tie.

I LOVE THE TEXTURE!! It hardens over night, but it is still raised over the surface so when you touch it it feels soooooo cool!!

Isn’t this awesome?!

I hung them up with wall mounting adhesive and it works awesome, but you could also frame it.

Eeek!! I can’t wait to give this to my dad! I know he is going to love it!!
